Zogby's Latest Interactive Poll is Up

Posted by DavidNYC

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Zogby's "interactive" battleground poll, but people seem to like discussing it, so who am I to stand in the way? The August 2nd edition is out. Some highlights:

Ģ Eleven of 16 states are within the MoE. Some are real sqeakers separated by less than a point, such as MO.
Ģ Bush only leads in three states, none outside the MoE (AR, NV, OH).
Ģ Kerry has outside-the-MoE leads in NH, PA, MI, MN and WA (I think).

Enjoy!

Exciting news indeed. I think the more important news in this poll is less the trial heats and states, but the numbers down the list and ratings on specific subjects. I suggest everyone read the entire zogby article; the President is in much more trouble than the trial heats suggest.

For me the link is still just on the July 26 polls--there were supposed to be new sets of polls today. Oh well.

More work in Ohio. As always.

I hope that the Oregon and New Mexico polls are outliers though. Kerry's lead is especially narrow in New Mexico. We need new NM polls to check on this.

New Mexco has ver 200, 0000 thousand native americans who do not have reqular phones or cell phones. It is difficult to survey them though this election their voting percentage will be high and favoor Kerry.
