Well, here in the non-swing state of D.C., the lines this morning at the polls are beyond ANYTHING I or my friends have ever seen (and I am talking about D.C. residents of 12+ years). I will have to leave work early to vote. There were about 300 people in line at 7:00 a.m. this morning at my polling place, and there cannot be more than 1,000 people in the entire precinct. I hope this is part of a nationwide trend. Democrats are voting here because they WANT to do so.

Rainy and cold here. I'm writing from a rural backwater in the swing state of Michigan. It's Bush country up here, though Democrats have organized the place like never before. This morning when the little township hall polling place opened it was jammed- more than ten times the usual morning turnout.

I'm not sure if anyone is still reading this (it has been at 3 posts for an hour and a half now), but for what its worth (in response to AGS):

We will win this election through the greatest weapon we have been given: our vote. We will not win by acting like children, preventing people from voting, or filling up people's e-mail boxes. We will be respectible, we will be patriots, and we will take back our country.
