Tuesday
Posted by DavidNYCI won't be around for election day - I'll be spending the entire day in Philadelphia, doing election protection along with hundreds of other law students from DC-area schools. I'm going to set the site to auto-post a few open threads throughout the day, and a friend will be checking in on the admin side. Traffic may jump (or it may not, if everyone is out doing poll watching), but I expect things to run smoothly.
To victory!

Not a bad start.
The first two precincts in the nation officially declared their allegiance to the Presidential candidates just after midnight eastern time. The towns are Hart's Location and Dixville Notch, New Hampshire. In 2000, Bush won Hart's Location by a margin of 17-13 and he won Dixville Notch by a 21-5 margin. Four years later, Bush and Kerry tied at 15 votes each in Hart's Location and Bush won Dixville Notch 19-7. In both precincts, Bush's margins declined by 7% from 2000. If this is indicative of how the entire race goes, Kerry will win in a landslide. :)
