Am I missing the point in all this back and forward about where Roemer stands on the issues or if he voted for or against legislation while he was in Congress?
What does that have to do with Roemer being DNC Chair. I view the primary function of the Chair as Spokeman for the Party and fundraising for Congressional Races. Where he stands on an issue is unimportant because he will not be proposing or voting on legislation that will be up before the House.

I'm all in favor of a moderate running the DNC. Maybe we should run moderates in Presidential elections as well and maybe we'll do a better job.
