not bad. In a less red district this would be bad for Schmidt

If the media had been so fair during the swift boat thing last year, John kerry might be President now.
It seems like pretty good coverage, especially the part with Hackett and the photos.

Fair and clear coverage, well done! Was it a happy coincidence, or an inspired bit of "subliminable" messaging that Mr. Hackett spoke to reporters about his military exploits in front of a shop window prominently featuring a "rubber stamp" sign? Keep hitting the message that Ms. Schmidt is one!

Can't see the damn thing on my Mac. Neeed to find the ActiveX plug in. Tried both Explorer and Firefox.
Check today's Stars & Stripes.
I think that it answers the stupid question.

Tim, maybe you could update the entry to include this direct link?
No ActiveX required, just use this direct link (it's an MMS streaming URL; you may have to copy&paste it into the location field of your media player) or this one if you'd like the full news segment plus ads (it's an ASX playlist file).
This information can be aquired using Firefox by choosing "Page Info" on the WKRC page, then choosing the "Media" tab and scrolling down to the first item of "Embed" type. Copy this URL, it's the playlist. Handling of different browsers and video news sites is analogous.
Anyway, Mac users should be using MPlayer for OSX as a media player. Check it out.
It's ported from the Linux platform and plays EVERYTHING (audio, video, you name it).
There are also Windows builds (scroll down to "Windows" heading).
