OH-02: Riding Shotgun with Major Hackett

Crazy day on Election Eve. I'm riding shotgun with the candidate, he's doing a radio show on his cell phone and I'm posting via cell card. He sounds great, he has a voice like John Wayne and his straight-talk attitude makes for great radio. He's giving a geography lesson the the district as we fly across it.

Crazy on election eve for sure. Thanks for the updates. An update of my own:

I received a list of registered Democrats through Democracy for America. Every single one I called and spoke to commented that he/she had been contacted numerous times in the past few days with reminders to vote. This is great, no doubt, but still can be a bit frazzling for a phone banker with "even though my cause is worthy I still hate to bother people" syndrome.

As people's calls overlap more and more, targeted voters will be called more and more. Some might be annoyed, some might appreciate the barrage of campaigners fighting for a solid candidate. Either way, do not be alarmed or feel any remorse if someone you call says he/she has already been contacted. No need to apologize even. Just say how important this election is and we want to be sure we talk to everyone.
