MPRE Lockdown
Posted by DavidNYCWith the MPRE (joy!) this weekend, I don't expect to be able to post between now and then. Regularly scheduled posting should resume next week.
Please use this as an open thread to discuss whatever races you're interested in. CA-50, for one, looms large.

Terrible news out of AZ CD-1: Jackson withdraws from the race, campaign in disarray. I cover it here, and the Arizona Republic covers it here.
My recommendation? Give money to Flagstaff's Mike Caccioppoli, the only Dem candidate in the race who's hammering Renzi in the press, just so we can dent Renzi's armor. He's already announced he plans to run for Governor in 2010.

Trust me on this: the PLI web video is all you really need. The MPRE is really easy (shockingly so, considering that it is the only ethics measurement that most states require)

On the bright side, a big-name State Senator (Harry Mitchell) might challenge JD Hayworth:

the only way to fail the MPRE is to over study for it. it's one of those exams that goes into the don't think too much category
