Spring Break
Posted by DavidNYCSpring break starts today, so posting will be light for the next week - and not even because I have some fun out-of-town trip planned. I've got to study for the MPRE, which is, sadly, next Saturday - right during spring break. (If you're not a law-type person, just be glad you'll never have anything to do with MPRE, the bar, or any of that stuff.)
Feel free to use this as an open thread.

Once I finish my undergrad next year, I know those law school horrors soon enough. (shudder)

The MPRE is easier than you think. Just watch PLI's free video lecture at http://mbe.pli.edu/. You shouldn't need more than that. The bar exam, however...

TX primary is tuesday. TX-28 is the big race Ciro vs. Cuellar let's hope we can pull off a win without going to a runoff. TX-Gov is well a slightly strange race... maybe a Democrat can win in the mess. The TX-Sen. Primary is allready decided.

no way the democrat can win in that texas race. I figure though if the dems endorsed Kinky, maybe wed then have a shot.
Perry 35%
Strayhorn 25 %
40% to everyone else, if Kinky were endorsed by D, he could take this and win

Wasn't there a Democrat before Bush won?

Do you mean Ann Richards? She lost to W. the same year Mario Cuomo lost to Pataki

Good luck with your MPRE. Lots of good political stuff going on next week, it might be hard for you to study! We got the CA and OR filings, the Texas primary, and IL pre-primary finance reports out. Should be a wild week.
