Final 2Q Push
Posted by DavidNYCThis it, folks. Today is the end of the fundraising quarter, and this is the final push. As you know, every little bit counts. So please consider giving to one of the netroots candidates, or to any other Democrat you think is worthy.

Eric Massa - D NY-29 has seen his district hard hit by the flooding and had to cancel some key campaign fundraising events including one featuring Ambassador Joseph Wilson author of "The Politics of Truth: Inside the lies that Lead to War and Betrayed My Wife's CIA Identity, A Diplomat's Memoir"
From the Massa Campaign:
"Unfortunately, we greet you this morning with tragic news. Major flooding in Binghamton and Wilkes-Barre has uprooted countless homes and caused the death of at least nine people. Our hearts go out to these New York and Pennsylvania residents who are battling with this tragedy.
The 29th has been lucky not to have received the brunt of the storm; however, our campaign plans were still altered by the flood. Road closings have prevented the Massa campaign from driving to New York City for campaign events with Ambassador Joe Wilson today.
Missing these events, slated to raise $30,000 to support Eric, was a serious fundraising setback for us, but nothing compared to the difficulty suffered by the New York residents who have lost their homes and uprooted their lives.
Today, Eric is going to be focusing his efforts in the district on voter outreach and assisting public officials in managing the emergency.
Tomorrow night marks the end of the second quarter. We need your help in meeting our goals more than ever before. Please donate $50, $100, or more if you can afford to.

We are standing strong in our goal to make Eric Massa the top fundraiser among Netroots endorsed candidates by raising $50,000 by Friday (7/30). Eric's campaign is powered by grassroots, volunteer-based support. Your contribution at this time makes all the difference.

Reports are officially due at the FEC on July 15th. However, campaigns which do well often leak the data early.
