  1. out of curiosity mainly. Most of them don’t update their own Twitters and instead send out generic press releases so it’s not very interesting. I chatted with Marco Rubio once. Mainly about LOLcats. I guess he’s worth following for the lulz, if you like Tweets like “I have no problem with President giving political speech to kids……..if his name is REAGAN!”

Oh, and Earl Blumenauer replied to a Tweet I wrote about him, although I didn’t mention him by username, meaning he searched for his own name and found me. Kinda weird.

Otherwise, I follow 538, NotLarrySabato, TPM, and The Hill. I used to follow SSP, but now I have a bookmark on my homepage which is a quicker way to check out new posts. 🙂 Don’t seem to be many campaign-related Twitters that carry original content instead of RSS feeds. I’d love to find out I’ve been missing out on some good ones though.

  5. I follow a few Missouri politicians (most of whom I’ve met). I’m thinking of booting Willis or Kagro just to make my feed look less exciting. I follow Claire too (met her in person as well).

The most famous person I got a reply from was the Batting Stance Guy.

    I’m @bhindepmo on Twitter

  6. None – I prefer websites – SSP, PPP, MyDD, CQPolitics, Politico.  134 characters or whatever aren’t enough for any kind of in depth analysis, which is what I’m really looking for.
