OH-Gov: Montgomey (R) Dropping out of Race
Posted by DavidNYCRepublican State Auditor Betty Montgomery is dropping out of the race for Ohio governor. That leaves Secretary of State Ken Blackwell and Attorney General Jim Petro to compete for the nomination. (In a recent Rasmussen poll, she performed the worst against the only Dem candidate, Rep. Ted Strickland.) Montgomery is instead going to seek the AG nomination (shades of Pirro), an office she once held but was term-limited out of in 2002.
(Thanks to Earl in Ohio.)

I meant only Dem candidate in the poll. But, also, does anyone think Strickland has a real chance of losing?

It's official, Betty has withdrawn from the race for governor with insipid platitudes of "best of luck to both". Will run for Attorney General again.
Never seen so many brush cuts in the same room in my life....
