Unfair, you say? Voters shouldn’t judge a candidate by his skin color. Maybe, but is it any more unfair than, for example, saying that because McCain and President Bush are both Republicans that a McCain administration would produce a third Bush term? No, it isn’t.

because if we did, we’d have no reason to treat Rothenburg as a credible pundit.
Am I to believe that people actually pay real money to read this guy’s “work.” Unbelievable. I might have to start my own political prognastication website and charge people $200/year membership. I’ll guarantee mine would be more readable than Stu’s.
Am speechless. Actually, no I’m not. Once a prick always a prick and now a racist prick to boot!
So, McCain should start airing commercials stating “Don’t vote for Obama because he’s black”? Like that’s a good idea.
I swear if I ever meet Rothenberg, I’m going to kick his ass.
Good to know that race is now a policy position.
That doesn’t make ANY sense at all. You’re comparing apples and oranges. Man, it is remarkable that this guy has anyone listen to anything that he says. I has nothing to do with them both being Repubilcans, it is because they have nearly identical views on all major issues… I mean, I’m just a student in college, but why can I see clearer than a professional? Is it because, just maybe, I’m not retarded?

This column is pretty bad. He’s trying to argue that both sides have been equally deceitful in their ads. What a joke! Has Obama stretched things a bit here and there? Sure. But McCain’s entire campaign has been based on lying about Obama and himself. It’s not even close – there must be 20 McCain distortions for every one of Obama’s, and a lot of McCain’s are outright lies. Rothenberg should stop even trying to present himself as an unbiased voice. Just own up that he’s pro-Republican and then folks can take his commentaries for what they really are.
Thinking that McCain is like Bush because he’s a Republican is not prejudice or discrimination. It’s realism.
I am literally dumber for having read that quote from Stuart Rothenberg. Thanks.

Rasmussen has McCain up only 8 points in a state almost entirely white. How’s that taste Stuey?
Wow… you know once upon a time I would’ve said about Rothenberg “yeah, he’s probably a Republican, but at least he can make a few good points” well I officially stand corrected, what an idiot…
