GA-Sen: Martin Airs First Ad

Democrat Jim Martin is up with the first ad of the Georgia Senate race. Check it out:

A pretty decent spot, and it will air through primary day (July 15). Martin has waged a fairly low-key campaign so far, but this ad and getting the endorsement Atlanta Journal Constitution give him a bit of momentum. Will it be enough to land him a slot in the top two?

  1. It’s nice to see something from Martin.  For a long time, his website was nothing but a fundraising link.  No bio.  No issues.  And he didn’t go to some candidate forums.

I’d be content with Martin.  However, I still like Rand Knight better.

  2. to have a chance we need Martin on the ticket. He would also help Obama in Georgia by making a credible Senate race.

Let’s hope his fundraising has kept up strong so he has lots of money to run this ad.

When do we get the pre-primary fundraising reports?

  3. My Senate ranking:

    1. Virgina (Solid Dem)

    2. New Mexico (Solid Dem)

    3. New Hampshire (Dem Fav)

    4. Colorado (Lean Dem)

    5. Alaska (No Clear Favorite)

    6. Mississippi-B (No Clear Favorite)

    7. Minnesota (Lean Rep)

    8. Oregon (Lean Rep)

    9. North Carolina (Lean Rep)

    10. Maine (Rep favored)

    11. Kentucky (Rep favored)

Hope Martin or another decent dem. can put GA on the target list.
