The Democratic VP Pick – Joe Biden?

That seems to be the general thinking as of this moment.

MSNBC is reporting that their sources say it’s not Bayh or Kaine.

ABC News is reporting a charter jet from Chicago to New Castle, DE

It looks more and more likely that Biden is the guy.  I actually do like the pick.  Biden seems to be a good compliment to Obama.  An added bonus is that we don’t lost a Senate or Governorship with Biden as we probably would if Kaine or Bayh were the pick.  What do the rest of you think of the possibility of a Obama/Biden ticket?

  1. Pros: Extensive foreign policy experience to make up for Obama’s lack of. As well, fully comfortable into going into genuine attack dog mode if Obama feels uncomfortable doing so.

Cons: 30 plus years in the Senate defeats Obama’s whole idea of change in Washington. Also, loose lips are a determent. Case in point:

“You can’t go into a 7-11 anywhere without running into a person with an Indian accent.”

“We have the first African American candidate (Obama) who’s good looking, articulate and clean.”
