Apparently a Garin-Hart-Yang poll showed incumbent Roscoe Bartlett only beating Jennifer Dougherty by six points. Being from Maryland, this was an absolute shock to me. No one thought this would be close.

This is such a Republican district that it would take a huge Democratic landslide to push Jennifer over the top. The fact that she’s this close is great for Dems in general.
How energetic is he? Some people at that age are pretty good while others look like they have no energy. Will he have a senior moment when his mind goes blank? This is one seat we could stumble into.
Time for another Red-to-Blue? Get Ms. Dougherty a big fundraiser and some big name guests, stat! Paging Terry McAuliffe and the Clintons… come on Van Hollen, you know you wanna help turn your home state 100% blue (w/Kratovil as well).
This is super news! If only we had it so good here in Delaware. I guess 2010 beckons (paging John Carney, Beau Biden, Matt Denn, or John Kowalko).
