Full disclosure: I work for the Kansas Democratic Party.
Thank goodness KS Dems found someone credible to take on Brownback.
Speaking of slates, question for you, Mike: do you know if we’ve got anyone running for Secretary of State? I’m a little worried that Kris “Don’t Let the Brown People Vote” Kobach could win.
without prior political experience, in a state like Kansas where dems are at a disadvantage it’ll be tough. Sure sweitzer and mark Warner did it, but they had run (though lost) previous races.
Anyone know why he refused to run again for Gov? As of Sept 30th his SUSA approvals as Governor were 53/33 which is amazing given the economic situation. His approval among republicans is an astonishing 57%, even higher than among Dems. He could have given Brownback a good race for sure. Really stinks he won’t run.
