  1. that show how Jimmy Olson, despite being Supe’s best bud, is constantly trying to kill Supe or trick him into revealing his secret identiy.

  2. D’Annuzio is missing the (R) tag.  I had to think for a second to remember it is Kissell’s district and it’s a safe bet to assume it’s a Republican, but I had to check the link to make sure.

  3. AK-AL: Is Young going to pull a Barbara Cubin?

    KS-04: WOW!

KY-SEN: Lol, Mongiardo gonna get rolled.

NM-02: Dang, looks like Teague is gonna have to fight harder than I thought.

PA-06: Oh Nom Nom, Dem take over.

PA-15: Gonna be close, if we pull the hat trick between this seat, PA-6 and hold PA-7, it’s gonna be amazing if you are from Philly.

TX-Sen, White needs to double his total haul thus far ($6 million) to have a real shot to win and it looks like he’s making good time on that number for a race that does not even really exist yet. It’s nice to know someone here in Texas is building a voter file and statewide field team.

  4. Young raised only $4,500 in the third quarter, ending September with $419,000 in his campaign account.

Justice, however, didn’t take advantage of Young’s slow fundraising.  He raised just $77,000 and only reported $101,000 cash-on-hand at the end of September.

  5. Owens Takes Lead Over Scozzafava

In just two weeks, a new Siena poll finds Bill Owens (D) has turned a seven-point deficit into a four point lead over Dede Scozzafava (R) in New York special election race in the 23rd congressional district, 33% to 29%, with Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman at 23%.

Analysis: “Owens leads with Democrats and in the eastern portion of the district. Scozzafava leads with Republicans and in the western portion of the district. Hoffman leads with independent voters and in the southern portion of the district. About two-thirds of voters have seen or heard commercials for Scozzafava and Owens, helping Owens and hurting Scozzafava.”

Said pollster Steven Greenberg: “Owens has picked up five points of support, while Scozzafava has lost six points. Hoffman, picking up seven points, has narrowed the gap between first and third place significantly. With just 10 points separating the three candidates, this is likely to be a very tight — and fiercely fought — campaign right through election day, now less than three weeks away.”

Combined with Scozzafava’s money problems, this is big news for Democrats.

  6. Rell’s Dismal Fundraising Suggests She’s Not Running

Connecticut Gov. Jodi Rell’s (R) most recent filing reports show that her political organization raised just $14,760 in contributions over the last three-month reporting period that ended Sept. 30 fueling speculation that she’s not running for re-election in 2010, the New London Day reports.

In contrast, two potential Democratic challengers — Dan Malloy and Susan Bysiewicz — each raised more than $100,000.

Of course we thought the same thing about Castle…
