AK-Sen: McAdams Hits the Airwaves, Again

Scott McAdams’ latest ad, entitled “Tie Rack”:

Another bright, clever ad from McAdams, which is also noteworthy for its effort to claim the Ted Stevens mantle for himself.

  1. Considering Murkowski has two endorsement ads from Stevens filmed a couple of days before the plane crash.  Not to mention McAdams is receiving strong support from Begich, the man who defeated Stevens in 2008.

In a straight up race between Miller and McAdams, I guess he could carry that torch given Miller is anti-government spending on anything, and McAdams is running on bringing as much federal money to Alaska as he could – which Stevens did.

  2. Thanks for making me donate to him! He’s folksy and Alaska-y without affecting a weird Minnesota accent or winking. That’s a win for Alaska right there.

Soooo glad we didn’t seriously try to push him out to replace him with that boring old former governor guy or whoever….

  3. I really like this ad. It’s an upbeat and refreshing ad, something that seems to be rare this cycle. The nod to the late Senator Stevens is very nice.

I wish we saw more ads like this from both sides.

  4. A NEW Ted Stevens! Oh joy!

Best case scenario: Instead of electing McAdams, everyone in Alaska votes to succeed from the Union and we just let them go.
