Sorry this is probably a stupid question and I’ll delete when I get an answer.
When I save my redistricting maps using Dave’s Redistricting App, where are they saved? I’ve saved a couple but can never find them.

If you mean accessing them in the App, you need to load the state first. Then your saved maps should be available in the drop-down "File Menu".
If you mean the actual files on your computer, here's Dave's help file on that.
How do you embed photos of screenshots in the diary?
Plus does anyone have an update as to when more partisan data will be available?
Is there no way to scroll down to more than 25 CDs? The page just seems too short for the menu. I’m using Explorer, and that’s been my only problem, so would something like Firefox help this?
… I might as well get a few questions of my own in as well.
I’ve started playing around with collating 2008 presidential data for Michigan, but I’m really unsure about how to handle the changes in precinct lines between 2000 and 2008.
For example, here’s the city of Allen Park in Wayne County.
The precinct’s as Dave has them defined for 2000 data are outlined by the app in black. There’s about 22 of them. I’ve colored in the current precincts using equivalent district colors. There are now only 16 of them. How do I go about splitting up the data?
My instinct is to choose one of the older, smaller precincts within one of the newer, larger precincts and assign all of the data to that one and zero out the others. But that’s mostly because I don’t want to have to try to figure out proportions. How have other people done this?
Two other related questions:
(1) The Michigan data set names precincts with a seemingly-random string of numbers. For my own purposes, I’ve started renaming them with appropriate city and townships names. Most, but not all, of the existing precinct names end with an asterisk. Does the asterisk signify anything, or could I safely get rid of it?
(2) I tried loading the app with a partial presidential data set consisting only of Alcona County. It failed to load. Is this because any partial data set would fail, or does it signify I’ve done something wrong? App works fine when I remove that data set from the Silverlight folder.
