Since governor’s fundraising totals don’t appear on the FEC website, it would be great if they could be posted on SSP whenever possible. Maybe make that another link under SSP Resources, so that people know where to go to get the latest numbers you have.
I’m not sure how much work it would be to make a serious effort to get totals from every governor’s race, but I just wanted to throw the idea out there. If it’s too much work, don’t worry about it.
Branstad is kicking off his tour around the state on the day they are released (Jan. 19). I have a feeling he pulled in monster numbers during the 4Q. I hope Culver banked a lot too.
The good news is that Branstad will have to spend a chunk during the GOP primary.
