Okay ramblers, let’s get ramblin’.

Politics, shmolitics.  Before I signed on to the Swing State Project, my previous writing experience consisted almost entirely of my time spent as a music critic for an alternative weekly paper.  And while I can say that I’ve very much enjoyed the jump from music to politics, the urge to consume and discuss new and old albums is impossible to kick.  So, I wanna know: what albums have you been enjoying lately?  Don’t be a stranger now.

Slow week here at the SSP – I’ve been utterly slammed with work lately. Though, good news: I was just admitted to the bar this week. Not the good kind of bar, but at least the kind that helps me earn a living.

UPDATE: Jeb Bradley (R) to seek rematch against Rep. Carol Shea-Porter in NH-01. You can bet he won’t hesitate to go ugly this time. (Thanks to jwgoodwin.)

UPDATE II (James): From the “Where Are They Now?” file–former KY-02 candidate and state Rep. Mike Weaver (D), is going to run for State Treasurer.

I think someone may have announced their run for Presidency today.

Sort of like life at the post office, elections – like the mail – just never stop.

Sorry for the quiet spell around here lately.  I’m on vacation until the 8th (but no vacation is complete without internet access to the Swing State Project, of course) and David has been busy ringing in the New Year and the new Democratic Congress in Washington, DC.  Did anyone have a chance to make it to the MCCXXIII Netroots reception?  Or did you get made fun of by your significant other for watching C-SPAN all afternoon, like me?
